The reason I believe a buyout/acquisition is in the works is because herborium's recent annual report states they are looking to sell. It's there in black and white for all to read.
I have an old business colleague of mine who sold an energy pill formula to a herbalife a few years back for $20 million and he only had 1 patent on it.
Herborium products are a no brainer for a large company. Sales are good, product works, and the books are clean.
