The problem is LL didn't do any "quality" testing. CARB has a very specific method for testing and LL freely admits that it doesn't follow those testing procedures.

As Whitney Tilson says...

"...it’s incumbent upon LL to do the tests the way the regulators do or the results are meaningless..."

The SwingTrade Portfolio is up 5.8% YTD through 01/27/15, 36.2% in 2014, 83.5% in 2013, and 546.6% since inception.
