Tom Steipp was given a 1million dollar raise for his work as CEO OF LQMT for the year 2014. WHY? Well raises are usually given as compensation for a job "well done". A 1million dollar YOY raise is given as a reward for doing exemplary OR "outstanding" work. Steipp did not give himself this raise, it was approved before today's LQMT ER.much like T.C. was given EXCEEDING compensation by AAPL before their last ER. It's a reward or "bonus" plus salary given to Tom Steipp for staying the course and implementing " the plan" given to him as CEO OF LQMT by most likely a top corporation or possibly "the most powerful company in the world". This raise was most likely given to Steipp for his reserve in NOT divulging ANY secret business between LQMT and "the planner"Co.which would obviously be the responsibility of the CEO. of LQMT. He must have fulfilled his end . He succeeded and was compensated for his Company's (LQMT) "success" to this point. Some would have you believe that T.S. gave himself a raise that is $1,150,000 more than his Co.s entire revenue, this doesn't work that way when your "real BOSS" is "the worlds most powerful company".
Face it ,even as shareholders, we are not privy to all the details of ANY company. Some Co.s are better at keeping "secrets" than others, (and some Co.s are much much better).
