Here ya go buddy: "The president is fond of saying he’s cut the federal deficit in half. That’s true as far as it goes. But it’s also a fact that the federal debt has just about exactly doubled since he took office.

I never said federal debt hasn't doubled however you have to start with lowering the annual deficit before you can worry about cutting the debt balance.

BTW, what did the federal deficit do under Bush? Do you think it would have doubled under Obama if he would have inherited a normal economic period?
