I am already the longest living male on my fathers side going back the 3 generations .
The reason for that , according to the Cardiologist I met with this am ...is because I have been on max dose Statins since they were approved in 1987 ( Actually was on them late 1986 as part of a UCSF program ...from memory )...as well as not smoking .

I know this may come as a shock to some that frequent this board ...that Statins can reduce the risk of heart attacks for those most at risk ...but there it is .

Back to Cardiology tomorrow to further my education on my Left bundle branch block .
They tell me they can do the cath thru my wrist now ...
Funny how they conveyed that ...sort of like with a smile ..."Hey we can do the cath ..."
