MYS, I agree the vehicle's connectivity is separate from a person's phone. The article points out the connectivity is targeted to user devices that do not have wireless phone connectivity built in, only Wifi. My assumption is that the user's Wifi device utilizes/connects to OnStar's WiFi capability and then OnStar connects into AT&T's 4G LTE infrastructure.
