I have no idea what the motivation was. I do find it interesting that it was done 30 seconds before the markets closed.

So maybe somebody was trying to bail. Or maybe somebody was trying to crater the price.

I wasn't following it closely but took a quick glance after lunchtime. There might have been a seller sitting at the Ask for a few hours and just gave up at the end of the day.

But waiting to the last 30 seconds seems curious.
