I agree that potentially this could be a great design and software could also be better. I just worry that the financial backing compared to companies spending billions on technology developments could seriously hinder production and further upgrades.

Keep in mind great ideas are many times brought to market by the folks that make it even better, faster and can continue to upgrade often.
Big R&D budgets are a reality.

I will trade this but just think a long hold is reckless.

I'm allowed my opinions also, so don't get all bent outta shape.
