I've been researching Applied Medical a little more and the term is quoted several times throughout their website. I also noticed that Applied Medical has its own "Center of Excellence" for research at their Rancho Santa Margarita location, which is directly across the street from Liquidmetal.

We can only hope that Liquidmetal will obtain a contract with a company such as Applied Medical as they're a major designer and manufacturer of medical devises.

A couple of weeks ago I spoke to Investor Relations and asked a CEO directly if they were working with Applied Medical. Obviously I did not get a direct answer, but I was told that Liquidmetal is currently focused on grabbing the low hanging fruit (contracts), but larger companies are in their sights. I believe we will hear more at the shareholders meeting.

I can't see Liquidmetal not pursuing Applied Medical. They pursued Swatch and they were in the same city as Liquidmetal.
