What is being ignored is the energy to raise the water up 2500 feet. It doesn't magically lift itself. And, if you want to understand why this won't work on this scale think about these question: Spider silk is stronger than steel. This is a fact. Google it. Do you think a building should be made of spider silk? Do you think taking enough spider silk to make an I-beam would be stronger than a steel I-beam?
