That's wrong, no dividend for WMIHP on Feb. 25

Sorry to disappoint you, at first I thought the same when I saw this link a few hours ago in a German board, but it is only the "Ex-Date" (see below)

Reuters is more accurate:

http://www.reuters.com/finance/markets/dividends and then search for WMIHP

WMI Holdings Corp Dividend For WMIHP.PK
Declaration: Feb 16
Ex-Date: Feb 25
Record: Mar 01
Pay: Mar 15

http://www.sec.gov/answers/dividen.htm

If you purchase a stock on its ex-dividend date or after, you will not receive the next dividend payment. Instead, the seller gets the dividend. If you purchase before the ex-dividend date, you get the dividend.

In YOUR link, the dividend cash amount of $5.83 confirms March 15 as pay date because:

From 01/05/2015 (offering of B preferreds) to 03/15/2015 it is exactly 71 days, the face amount of B prefs is $1000 and the dividend is 3% per year so:

71/365 * $1,000 * 0.03 = $5.83

If you use Feb. 25 the amount would be only $4.27
