I don't think so, I think that's a far stretch, but hopeful thinking.
Recent Pfizer news:
Pfizer walks away from $118 billion AstraZeneca takeover fight, stock symbol "AZN"
Hospira buyout is a shot in the arm for Pfizer’s biosimilars, stock symbol "HSP" - from my understanding this is actually being invested by a P.A. It does mention that Pfizer wants to expand into the industry of sterile injectable capabilities.
Bottom line - both these companies have more to offer in terms of growth and profitability (traded on the NYSE).
