errors

speaking of errors: at RFK sunday watching the nationals beat the pirates 5-4, a question about errors arose amongst some of us gathered. one guy swore up-and-down that.....

if a ball hit in the air in foul territory was
dropped, (both feet in foul territory) - that it is an error.

another guy, (me) is positive that it is not an error - because no one reached base or advanced as a result. everyone else, (about 3-4 guys) well - they sat on the fence. appreciate any responses, and/or answers.....
