Good question....I think that management recognizes the criticism of failing to meet their recent timelines so they gave a very vague guideline for this study. It is probably realistic.
The previous phase 1 cohort studies were started one patient per week and the protocol required four weeks of treatment. Then, results had to be evaluated which included blood tests, bone marrow aspirates, etc. The cohort group had to be completely evaluated before beginning the next cohort.
Theoretically these two studies could be completed by the end of May but realistically it will be after July1.
