good point....economies change, go through ups and downs. How far will/are we heading down is the question.

Growth of other nations economies does have an effect on ours but we currently have no new industry to develop as we have in the past when we have been able to come out of the down cycle. (ex: tech industry after late 70's early 80's stagflation)

I'm hoping it comes out of the alternative energy industry because america (as leader of the free world) and the rest of the world (not to mention mother earth) sorely need it.

Currency trading question:
Any users of Oanda that could give me an idea of the pip spreads they are getting in general? The demo is always 3 total in and out. But they apparently do not guarantee that.
