With the Swatch exclusive contract with liquidmetal up in March , it may be a strategic move for Apple to wait until then to announce a watch that has liquidmetal in it . Because then if liquidmetal did not resign with Swatch's exclusive watch contract (as possibly whispered on the ear by Apple), it would not be a conflict of interest for Apple to be using any amorphous metal that may be linked to crucible patents , which would be linked to liquidmetal. Kind of a long shot, but it is a possibility on why they are waiting so long to release the watch. Timing is everything and I am hopeful that our time may be coming.
