It can be surprising how long a tail Sprague's releases generate.

Who would have thought folks are still expecting things from those old bits of paper.

The idea that a unicorn is going to appear on the scene remains strong. One day it is a presidential directive. Another it is a species of logic that magically but inevitably arrives at the conclusion that Wave's product is better than anyone else's. Another day it is a mobile standard. Today, it is Samsung.

But Wave is just a normal company trying to sell its products to normal customers in a normal market in which normal business rules apply. They just have to offer what they have and see if someone wants it. If they increase their sales from one quarter to the next, they are making incremental progress. If not, it's more of the same.

Unicorns are kinda mythological. At what point do folks realise this isn't a fairy tale. The reality is still dismal, dilution is still the most reliable event in Wave's story and we still await signs of Solms bending the arc of Wave's progress Northwards.
