David Wells (knee) threw approximately 75 pitches in a bullpen session Wednesday.
Wells is expected to pitch a simulated game Saturday before starting next Thursday at Triple-A. 'His arm looks great to me, it always does," manager Terry Francona said. 'I think we felt pretty good about him the first time and then it kind of fell apart." May. 11 - 9:26

Note the last line, hence my skepticism.

Edit: Yeah, I am hearing thunder! I hope it means rain and not just lightening!!

Never heard that Theo didn't sign a contract, maybe he just wants things open ended to see if it works out this time.
