I believe they compared it to the previous MI's, which were released on holiday weekends.

I thought the first 15 minutes were better than all of MI 2.

TC doing all the stunts...a constant thrill ride...

3.75 out of 4

In spite of his public/press issues, MI 3 and The Last Samurai have solidly put him back on top, imho. *(Ooh, almost forgot Collateral.)
