My whole portfolio is boring Boeing type stuff plus index funds. I figure I've beaten AT LEAST 98% of IHUBers over the many years I've been online.

Last year I noticed that my very best performing multibagger stocks receive virtually no posting on IHUB. For example, Travelers Insurance, a Dow 30 stock. There's a strong inverse correlation between board posting and stock performance.

Just about everything a new investor learns about stocks on IHUB is wrong. For some screwy reason individual investors love small cap, low priced stocks. I mod the two BRK boards, with BRK-A at $220,000 a share the last I looked and still beating 99.99% of small caps or especially penny garbage. Buffett's done just fine: He's worth about $70 Billion!

Back to Boeing. Here's an article I found recently comparing Mega cap stocks like Boeing to small caps: http://marketrealist.com/2015/01/choose-mega-large-caps-rather-small-caps/

That brings up the question of whether Boeing will split soon. I doubt it. Splits have gone out of style over the past decade although I notice that Visa, at about $250 a share, announced a 4 for 1 split recently. Four of my stocks are >$100 and the cheapest is $40.
