Having more cant hurt, but I dont think you need much more if your portfolio generates some dividends.

Foundations are required I believe to spend 5% of their assets each year to maintain tax free status and some are quite old.

If when nterest rates were higher, or in the future, you arrange your portfolio to yield 5% on average, the gradual ncrease in those dvidends would keep you up with inflation.
