"Likewise, companies have already successfully tested new technologies to convert manure into energy, and simply lack the positive economic pressure the PMT regulation would provide to invest in scaling up pilot projects to commercial scale—thus making these technologies into a cost-effective solution for our current manure crisis"

From Chesapeake Bay Foundation website

Maryland's New Governor Hogan's withdrawal Wednesday of the Phosphorus Management Tool and nitrogen oxides (NOx) reduction regulations

Causing difficulty for both organisms and industry in converting the N2 into useful compounds, but at the same time causing release of large amounts of often useful energy when the compounds burn, explode, or decay back into nitrogen gas?

seems to me if they can process chicken S*** in the DGU Perdue would order up a few for the eastern shore ASAP... The reduction of said waste would help the overall health of the Chesapeake watershed and at the same time cut energy costs.

??? Think so?
