Well.. Who ever said people make sense ?? :)
I wasnt watching this morhing, so I dont know what the bid was at open, but I would say that there was a bit of panic buying on Friday late which drove the pice up a bit. Then after the close the retail ordres got canceled. (Or at least mine do through ameritrade). So this morning there was no retail ordres biding in the 3's but someone saw the bid drop into the 2's and paniced and put in a sell. Maybe it was someone who bought on Friday and had buyers remorse ? Who knows.. I've just learned not to panic sell or buy, on low volume moves as usually you will get a second chance.
