Hiroller, I didn't forget you.
To answer your question why VOIS is not fireing on all cylinders getting the word out about the earpiece and create a demand already before the rollout.
Keep in mind that the first lot is just 5000 units. It would be deadly for VOIS to create a huge demand and then not being able to deliver. That is equally dealy for a company than bankruptcy. Just to give you a perspective. If they would do what everybody here demands then they would deal with the following numbers just in the US and just for a couple of examples of big retailers who I am sure would want to sell the device.
Here I take just two examples of which I know the numbers for, so extrapolite it to the rest:

costco: stores in the US 420, average customers per day 4500, customers total per day 1.89 million
walmart: stores in the US 2000+, average customers per day about the same than costco 4500, customers total per day 9+ million.
About 2% of these customers are actually buying the product (which in this case is very conservative because of the public hype created by VOIS and subsequently by the media), that would result to about 202,000 buying customers per day. The amount of 5000 units would be sold within minutes. and then a big vacuum. Customers want instant gratification. If a product cannot provide that it will be dismissed and the company along with it. Remember, I only took two examples out of thousands just within the U.S. Do you see the danger of creating a huge demand and then not being able to deliver?

VOIS is not Apple yet. Apple in the beginning started very modest as well and I mean VERY modest. They didn't even come out with 5000 units, they came out with just 100 of their first computer and sold it to a single very smal and local computer shop.

I am absolutely pleased with the way VOIS is aproaching the rollout. It is about to grow in an organic way, which is the healthy way. Less
