Trades shows have their place and I'm not saying it's a bad idea for VPLM to go to them. However, to use that as a way to disprove anything. I don't buy it.

My background is in sales. I've sold into Raytheon, Cisco, Northrop Grumman, NASA, DOD, etc. I can honestly say, if you have a good product, it's really not that difficult to get a meeting.

This BOD has 100 times the contacts, experience, etc. There is no way that they would have any trouble, IMO, setting up a meeting with any of the companies they think would be interested in these patents. To think they need a trade show to accomplish this goal is just plain silly.

If I was their sales guy, I wouldn't put a trade show even close to the top things that needed to be done in this situation. I would have my top 20 companies or so that I want to meet with and get to work.

I always find it interesting when someone posts some great information towards VPLM, that the focus quickly goes to something the company is not doing.
