jhdf51, no, not at all. I wish I knew the time frame but as they have done for many years, they can do one of three actions with these claims. 1) They can continue to use them as an excuse to delay the inevitable or 2) they can set up a reserve with around 20 million or so and move on with the "post-to-close" ending the WaMu bankruptcy case or 3) make a fast and easy settlement. Keep in mind, the FDIC has made a filing this past (I believe) November, saying these cannot be paid. So, we soon see how this goes with the next filing.

If they are going to close this case anytime soon, we should see a "post-to-close" any day between now and the next month or so. No doubt, the "players" have had the foundation to close this mess along time ago, but no way for us to know until something is filed that leads the way for us to try and read the future tea-leaves
