Hi Toofuzzy
"The record keeping issue is one of the reasons I do not do it."

The record keeping system is no different than a regular aim program.
What am I missing??
Here is an example. SLW.
Two aimers start a program at its 40.60 high. 50/50, 10% B/S.
BTB buys algorithmically buys at the 31.56, 24.53, 23.72, 19.67 price levels.
It stops buying when its price rises to 22.97. It has released $4,221during the declined.

Delayed buys has done a virtual; it adds up the dollar amount and make a lump sum buy of $4,221 at the 22.97 price.
It records the $4,221 in the market order column. Add 1/2 amount to the portfolio column and bingo. Same record keeping
accomplished.
So, simply by putting an amount at a different time in the market order column; the method is able to garner amazing results.
In jaiml's example SSO charts. CAGR 10.04 VS. 14.53.
Again, as far as I can see, their is no difference in the record keeping.

Happy New Year
