From what I gather so far CIM seems to be very important in this situation

So what have you "gathered" that would lead you to believe this? Again, I ask, what do you have in the way of evidence that would support any of your musings?

I don't know who Fam is so I can't speak for him. I have never been a MM or a stockbroker.
