wave isn't the first to face the obstacle of being a mouse amongst giants. every large company once was a small one that had to overcome the issue of its scale. there are also many advantages to being an agile innovator.

if solms has contracts which only require wave to have money in the bank in order to garner a signature, maybe he could take his banker into a few meetings with prospective customers and get a loan on the strength of the confirmation that this is their only issue.

for myself, i am not convinced this really is the main issue. it may be a convenient excuse. but it doesn't matter so much to me either way as i am more in the business of counting beans than figuring why the can is empty!!
