And still another!..You might think, enough already, I've seen the PR..Well I'm just trying to show that Hrct is gettting a bit of ink on different web sites..This one seemed to spark interest in many different circles.....Personally, I love to read about Hrct on all these site..We are getting noticed..Aloha

The Hartcourt Companies, Inc. has agreed to buy 51 percent of Elephant Talk, which provides of long-distance telecom services in China and Hong Kong. Terms were not disclosed.

Hong Kong-based Elephant Talk reported revenue of $26 million and a profit of $940,000 in its most recent annual financial statement. Its customers include AT&T and MCI Worldcom.

Shareholders of Elephant Talk participate in a joint venture with China Huandao Group, a unit of the People's Liberation Army of China, known as ETNS, which has acquired an 8,307 kilometers fiber optic network in eastern China.

"Elephant Talk is our first step in creating a major broadband network for voice and data communications in China," said Dr. Alan Phan, Hartcourt's chairman in a statement. "Hartcourt's major objective in structuring this transaction is the operation and full implementation of ETNS' 8,300 km fiber optic network connecting 15 major Chinese cities."

Hartcourt is a Los Angeles-based holding company with a number of other Internet and telecommunications ventures in China and Hong Kong.

Shares of the company (OTC: HRCT) have ranged from 47 cents to $9.50 over the last year
