My estimate of factory cost is about $225K +/- $15K depending on how successful they were in squeezing the supply base. Apple did not have a patent on hard balling suppliers!! This is exclusive of consumables....feed stock and crucibles ...which was estimated to be $20K.

I hope they were able to keep some of the Engineering staff after the big layoff in Merrimack, Salem and Mesa.
