Sorry I couldn't get back to you sooner....you know, job and all.

I'm willing to help anyone with DD or any other stuff. But I have a question...Please do not take this as a jab and I hope its not offending, but, are you here because you are a flipper, day trader or just saw the action on the PPS one day? Or maybe because you just saw this company associated with Apple, and thought it was a good buy because of the association? Or, just sort of new to doing DD?

Either way is fine...just wondering. As I said, I'm willing to help.

So...Knowing Apple's mentality about business, they are usually 5 steps ahead in development. Usually stuff they are working on now is for the 3rd evolution in the future of what everyone thinks the product is for at this moment(Apple is a very secretive company).

Sapphire, as it pertains here, has been around for some time. Used in many products before this. Aircraft windows(and other flying craftwink, scopes for rifles(military connection...hint), potential for bulletproof glass and checkout line scanners. Been used on phones quite a bit actually already...Vertu and others. There are other Sapphire manufacturers already producing this stuff...Japan, Taiwan, Poland. So, is Sapphire what Apple really wants? They can get it from a myriad of places. Or, do they want something more from Sapphire that NO ONE else is doing with it yet? In collaboration with another company(s) that is doing stuff that no one else is doing yet.

In my opinion, what we know about this deal now may be 3 years behind in Apple's thinking. I think the Sapphire as it is being perceived now, is a means to an end. If anyone really thinks this is for a phone screen only isn't being objective enough. Gorilla Glass is cheaper, so the profit angle is out.

Through my DD, I came across something that said Apple claimed that while the bigger furnaces are producing bigger Sapphire boules(165), the biggest furnace will be kept out of the market for a "substantial amount of time". Why? Because they are doing something with it that no one else is, and they don't want anyone else doing it either. Steve Jobs once said that he hates copycats, and we all know how fast their technology and ideas get copycatted(if that's even a word). I said yesterday that I speculated that bigger boules were for something bigger(physically).

I've been invested in GTAT for a bit, before the announcement of Apple came into the picture, so I have done a ton of research on them. Their technology was at that time, and is still now amazing. Even more so now. I've researched their IP as it pertains to solar, and others in regards to Merlin and Hyperion. Hyperion is a pretty amazing thing if you do the research on it. It's only use isn't for ion implanting in Sapphire for Apple's phone screen or solar(uses in the healthcare industry...hint. Maybe with a company that begins with G and ends with E). Merlin, is cool too. Other companies have similar stuff, like Meyer-Burger. While researching Merlin is how I stumbled upon Graphene and its many uses. Graphene is something special!

So, thanks to the internet, I now have ADD as it pertains to reading, and I began studying Graphene(for a potential future investment...hint)in another window as I find myself fip-flopping between several windows. The more I read, the more I realized how these 2 had a correlation. The next search was on.

More DD later, I come across a company named Manz. Very interesting stuff these guys do. I posted a link to their company before(hint). Graphene...Manz...cool. Then the Lithium battery stuff came into play. Green energy stuff is cool...more DD. Realize these guys are sniffing around Tesla and vice versa. Tesla Gigafactory/lithium batteries/solar. Manz also does some wafering stuff....hmmmm. Patent search...Rudolf Beckmann. This is where Apple came into play!!!

Ever see one of those belts and backpacks you can charge your phone with? Graphene can be stretchable, like tape or....a watchband? Lithium batteries have a long life and can be charged by solar. What is the Iwatch cover made of?

More DD. Realize Apple is talking to Tesla for "stuff"(damn secretive Apple).

Tesla...Apple...Manz. Tesla/solar. Manz/Lithium. Telsa Gigafactory/Manz. Apple patent for wafering(ala Manz)/???

Apple and GTAT are working on solar stuff together, with wafering of Sapphire involved. Tesla being green wants solar panels. I find GTAT and Tesla discussed something too. Very interesting point here...could be coincidence? Tesla has a picture of the Tesla D out, ironically I find an official GT release with their company logo on it, and low and behold(drumroll)...this release has a picture of the Tesla D on it! GT also has a patent for thermoelectric conversion(hint).

My speculation...bigger boules for something bigger?

I didn't quite get the Manz connection at first and couldn't figure it out. Until the list of largest creditors came out...guess who was on it?

GTAT/Apple/Tesla/Manz

Even more interesting was the Doc that came out yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised to read some of the assets GT was granted in the settlement. Lots of cool tools and machines in there. If they were only growing boules in Mesa, why all of that other stuff?

I hold true to the fact that Sapphire for what everyone thought Apple wanted it for was just the tip of the iceberg. A means to an end...or beginning of something much bigger.

Hope this helps. I could list everything I found, but DD is ones own responsibility to ensure a proper investmentwink

Sorry for the rant...my fingers are killing me.
