ehya, obviously, the US already has hoards of hardwired areas which would be resistant and competetive to change.

Other countries do not have this infrastructure, or level of competetion. Many have goegraphical limitations to conventional systems. GTE would be an ideal fit for these needs. Cheaper, faster, and more reliable.

Also, the foreign telecom market cap is over 700 billion. Domestic is just over 300 billion.

Looks to me like overseas is the obvious choice for a market.
