Why would the WMI debtors/SNH's have revealed that there were assets??? The point is they wouldn't have because it would have been counterproductive to what was supposed to have happened ie cancellation of equity as per POR V.6 !!!

Again using the K-Mart example...were the billions in real estate value revealed during the bankruptcy when equity was still existent?... NO!!!. Were the present owners of K-Mart aware that this value existed during the bankruptcy and before equity was cancelled?...YES!!!. Did these investors alert the K-Mart bankruptcy court or equity that billions were available to the estate? NO!!!.

So I must ask why didn't they??? The simple answer is they wanted it all for themselves(sound familiar) and they succeeded with their plan in that instance. The same could possibly apply here with WMI, where the SNH's saw hidden value and tried a "K-Mart" but fortunately for us they failed miserably.
