Thanks gnawkz. It is obvious you have far more experience with options than I do.
I have gone through a bit of a painful learning curve (learning the hard way) with some poor bets on call options (in hindsight).
Of course it is cheaper to buy some nearby options as opposed to 2017 (thus higher leverage), so I was trying to weigh what I knew & what I expected/hoped to happen within certain timeframes. Such as the initial expectations of the 1st interim, or expectations about ASCO, or expectations about HE pricing & reimbursement, initial DCVax-Direct results, or the expected good news by this fall or end of the year .... unfortunately you are correct and it would have been much better to have paid more to obtain the farther out option.
I only blame myself. I have started to shy away from options a bit & started buying the common shares instead.
