In the above link you will see that my post was deleted because it contained the word "hypesters". Now these same people label me a basher.

No, I see the post was deleted because you personally attacked other posters by calling them "Hypesters". There is a huge difference. Please note that several have had posts deleted for calling you a "basher".

The answer is simple. These individuals are hypocrits. They boldly call me a basher and delete my post for calling them hypesters. They own shares in the company (some more than others) and they want IHUB to grant them authority to create a forum that actively discriminates against points of view that shed negative light on a stock to shield their vested financial interests. Its unethical and its absurd.

There you go namecalling again. If you will allow me to relate a lesson I learned a long time ago. In an argument the first person to resort to namecalling loses.
Additionally, how can you know what is in the mind of another?
Besides, If the above were true would not every post you have made to the CBQI thread have been deleted? Would you not be banned from IHUB altogether? I have seen no heard no call for such an action by either Gary or IHUB. Conversely, because you feel the posters on the CBQI board overly postive do you support the idea of having their posts deleted and them banned from the site because you feel they are wrong and you are right? (I just love double edged weapons.) 8>)

The truth is, Gary wants the ability to Harrass any negative point of view and them delete defending posts. Gary calls this impression management. He is managing the impression that other may have if they read the opposing argument. Its Bad form.

I have read Gary's posts for some time. I have seen no evidence to support this claim. Further I believe "impression management" was coined by the media during the Nixon administration. though I could be wrong I don't think we have Gary to thank for that.

Democracy is based not on the pricipal of protecting the rights of the majority. It is based on the pricipal of protecting the rights of the minority from oppression and discrimination by the majority. Gary wants a FEUDAL form of government that allows COBs the authority to oppress the views of the minority. I want a demorcracy, and if you take a poll, so does the majority.

I'm sorry but a pure Democracy typically ignores the minority. This country does not meet the technical definition of a pure democracy partially because of the attention given the minority opinion. Further, and again based on longtime review of Gary's posts, I disagree that he seeks a return to a feudal governing system. He does appear to show many conservative values.

I want a demorcracy, and if you take a poll, so does the majority.

If you review the contest over the past few weeks here at IHUB. you'll discover that, like many businesses in this country and abroad, it is not a democracy and never will be.

If you allow posts to be deleted, their needs to be an easy way to have them reposted if it is dertimined the COB is wrong.

IHUB has in place an excellent system for review of deleted posts. those that have been deemed appropriate have been restored. I see no reason to expect differently in the future.

Tollerating one groups assult on another is wrong. If you label me a "basher", and delete me for labeling you a "hypester," you are showing your hypocracy by electively discriminating against me.

Unless you missed one, Have you not already pointed out all of the "basher" posts to Gary? and hasn't he deleted all of those you complained about? further are there not posts wherein you use other derogatory terms concerning Gary that remain on the CBQI thread?

In reviewing the "big picture" I have taken all of these things into account. Yes there has been some namecalling by both sides of the argument on that thread. Many were removed but not all. Perhaps some remain because the majority of the post is relevant and the CoB felt they should remain even though the poster erred by adding an attacking one-liner. I don't know, I haven't crawled inside Gary's head to figure out what he is doing. That isn't my responsiblity. It also isn't admins responsiblity. Neither is it admin's responsibility to soothe the hurt feelings of someone that has been losing an argument.
This is what I mean by "get over it" and move on. Learn from your mistakes. Come back better prepared. Have more evidence. Be able to prove your claims. Those that think a good arguing style is to pick apart the posters communication skills are sadly underprepared. Sit in on a debate competition and see haw far that style goes. Do your homework and sit at the table for as long as you can keep presenting facts. Start namecalling and you get escorted from the building. Without a review.
