If they're exporting coffee to Mexico and Colombia, then it looks like growth in the US is really over. These are not good markets to be getting into!

Colombia is the #2 coffee producer in the world; you would think that they drink a lot of coffee, but it turns out that per capita consumption is only 1/2 of what it is in the US. They have about 15% of the population of the US and each person drinks half the coffee we do here. And 75% of the coffee they drink is produced locally; only 25% of the coffee they drink is foreign grown.

The per capita consumption in Mexico is 1/4 of what it is in the US, though they have about 1/3 the population of the US.

If that weren't enough, JAMN is going to show up there with RealCups and tell them that they have to buy the coffee in capsules and brew it in $140 coffee makers that they've never seen before. I really don't think these cultures are going to embrace this new brewing method.

Notice that the news was released just before the quarterly report is due; I have to say I am still not expecting good news!
