I hope you're not referring to me when you say "talked out of holding TVIX"???

12/04/14

TVIX- New ALL TIME lows created today @ 2.12

It looks like this is headed under $2.00 and R/S is likely to be announced soon.

Ummmmmmm I don't think I'm alone when It did really look like it was heading under $2.00 and I posted possible R/S because PPS was in low 2'S because it already had a history of R/S around that price range over the last couple years. Also the fact that JNUG had recently announced a R/S. Nevertheless you shouldn't really have worried about the R/S as it doesn't have the same negative impact on ETF's like they do on stocks. the main concern was markets continuing to move up and TVIX was falling, that's it!

Anyway, my posts didn't seem to have any effect on your decision because you posted this on TVIX days after my posts...

12/08/14

TVIX-I repeated many times, be patient...Market down is always faster than up...

TVIX-hope everyone didn't panic sell, I told everyone I held...

TVIX-like I stated earlier, I'm still riding it out...I don't think the o/s big enough yet for r/s and believe we're going to get another nice fat bounce out of it first...

You made the decision to sell for quick flip when markets were signalling a pullback. Even I was surprised to see you had tossed it...

I just tossed TVIX 2.23, will rebuy dip...

TVIX- LOL Markets are finally beginning to correct and you're so fast to toss it when it moves up a few percentage points???

FWIW most folks were loading this in the $3 range and all the way down for weeks and they are still deep in the red. Only low $2 buyers are flipping for some small gains right now...

FWIW TVIX is only good for a swing trade when markets look to pullback, not a long term hold. I have been in and out of TVIX dozens of times in the last couple years. I picked some up today @ 2.41 and you had plenty of time to get back in the last couple days so no excuses or playing the blame game. Next time Follow your own advice and gut. Nobody is to blame but you for your decisions .
