All of what you wrote goes completely out the window for one simple reason. You(nor I) have no clue what is going on behind the scenes. For all we know they have come to an agreement with a potential buyout candidate and they have been told to simply complete tooling and not shed any light on this new tech for others to benefit from. There is so much legality to a situation like that its not even funny. We simply don't know and no one has any right to criticize for this exact reason.

I do know one thing for sure though, you spend a lot of time analyzing a company you clearly dislike.
