hadn't considered the notion of separable value,

but in any event, the notion that Wave ponied up $13m US dollars and handed them to somebody, and that breakeven occurs when safend records cumulative profits of $13m US dollars seems a bit off.

Nobody ever had or gave anybody $13m US dollars for Safend.

WAVX shares have been handed to all sorts of people for all sorts of things, but mostly in return for cash.

To the extent there are those that argue e.g. that WAVX shares are and have been essentially worthless, the argument could be made that they got Safend for $1.1m (the cash componenet) plus a couple rolls of toilet paper.

The here today gone tomorrow component of goodwill etc is a bit to hokus pokus for me to sink my teeth into. I realize some emans of accounting must exert itself on these things, but thew notion that it was some bonfire of dollars seems a bit off, it was a bonfire of WAVX shares, and there is little new about that except this particular bonfire has been actually printing a little bit of money over the last several quarters.

The above content is my opinion.
