Bullshit. That only accounts for the moment the R/S takes effect. It's what comes after that kills shareholders. While they wait for their shares to be deposited into their accounts, the sp drops. Split-adjusted, they'll be selling shares for less than $.0001.

A R/S is done to rid the new management of existing baggage, aka shareholders.
