Haha that has to be computer software. I'm an online chat customer service rep and I can for sure tell you that's not how we do things. Every company has different chat standards, but I've dealt with a lot of other companies' chat services as well for testing and that def wasn't a real person. Even if your question about the rain was completely irrelevant, you'd get the correct answer from a person and when you ask if you are speaking with a real person, the answer wouldn't be robotic to actually prove that you are real. I love telling customers jokes and proving I'm real in a humorous manner.
