"Why is it that alot of these companies claim their doing audited financials and somehow can never give out the name of who is actually doing the audits?"

No doubt they would claim that it's because the firm concerned would be swamped with calls from naysayers like me.

That's usually the excuse used for never naming the Fortune 500 companies who are lining up to buy the company/product, or for why the TA is gagged.
