prompt and honest response to my questions regarding e.Digital`s first-generation infotainment, wireless and portable IFE products. I certainly agree with you that no one can predict now just how profitable these initial entries of ours will be, nor how well-received they may, or may not, be ... but have you ever taken the time to consider the potential that these three (3) different markets could hold for a little company like e.Digital, if it is successful ... and with each of them being in just the earliest stage of their development ? In fact, I`m betting that the revenues from any one of these three sources, and their higher margins, will dwarf anything we might see in the way of license fees and royalties for our jukebox platform ... if the Company can cover its overhead with profits from the Odyssey 1000 and royalties from Digitalway, I`ll be happy !!
Yes, I do remember "Hy-Tek and EASTECH", but I choose not to dwell on the painful past, nor do I expect to, as you put it ... "learn more when the 10K is released" ... I pretty much know already what to expect ! Frankly, I`ll be looking forward to seeing this quarter`s 10-Q and the next quarter`s [ending 9-30-03] ... these are the ones that will reflect increased revenues from the introduction of at least three new products, and hopefully, even more ... remember, if our wireless headsets are delivered before the end of this month, we`ll see approximately $1,000,000 this quarter from this source alone ... guaranteed !!
Now, just what impact these new revenues will have on this rather volatile [at times, anyway] stock price is anyone`s guess, and who knows when the price will be, if ever, a true reflection of the Company`s fundamentals ? In the meantime, the suspense continues, interest is mounting, and silly predictions will abound with little, if any, basis ... so, what`s new, right ??
Well, I`ll tell you again ... the wireless headset funded by HP is new, the HD1213 funded by ECLIPSE by Fujitsu Ten is new, and the IFE device funded by who knows for sure [certainly not by e.Digital or APS] is new !! Now, even with my old eyes, I can see that my 3 1/2-year old e.Digital mug ain`t empty !!
