NEWe.Long: Neither source you cite is official information. The Softeq letter of credit very well may have been placed. Just because I said EDIG was trying to get one, which was the last official word from the company, doesn't mean I believe it hasn't been placed. FWIW, I think it most likely is in place.

The interview of Ferguson and his statement that the IFE device is in "production" does not convince me that means that they are manufacturing the device in any quantity. EDIG has used that word before regarding products coming from other OEMs. Remember Hy-Tek and EASTECH? It could mean that it is in the prototype phase. My personal opinion is that it is no farther than the protype/sample phase at this point. But I could be wrong.

However, even if you are correct about both of these issues, I'm not sure that they have enough financial significance to help EDIG become profitable. They have costs associated with them, so gross margin will be very important.

We will all learn more about where things stand when the 10K is released.
