2da, here's what I said in my post:

The point is that there's no discrete, end of "dosing trials" with any new drug.
I'm sure there were many debates inside Ariad, and the CML community about
the proper dosing, before and during the trials. I'm sure that Ariad was aware
of and considered feedback from the trials. They made very difficult decisions,
based on emerging data, and now, with perfect hindsight you can accuse them
of... I don't know what, stupidity, carelessness... I don't think so! After all, they
wanted a good outcome as much as you and I.

It's still an experiment in progress, dosing trials notwithstanding, and they will
establish the right regimen, to get the best result. Abusive comments about
Dr.Berger and Ariad are really inappropriate, and posters who engage in it
(incessantly) are not doing themselves (or us) a favor.
