Hi Allen, Looking back at my records I was paying approximately $11 per trade in the late 1990's that went down to around $5 today if not buying commission-free ETFs so I just kind of averaged it out to around $8 per trade for the analysis. Normally I wouldn't consider trade commissions but in this case with the 9-ETF portfolio the number trades was an order of magnitude higher than the single SPY-only portfolio.

I like the idea of looking at sector rotation, however, I'm not sure if there is an accurate signal that can be used to identify when the rotation is occurring. Any suggestions?

Thank you for your feedback, Doug
