Berkshire Profits Down

Berkshire Hathaway Inc’s profit for the third quarter declined nearly 9% because of a huge write off that took place in one of the company’s investments. However, the operating results of the company impressed Wall Street. Yesterday China reported figures that missed forecasts, indicating a weak economy.
