ot:DJ MOSAID/Infineon -2: Adds To Infringement Suit >T.MSD
OTTAWA (Dow Jones)--MOSAID Technologies Inc. (T.MSD) has filed an amended answer and counterclaim in the litigation with Infineon Technologies AG (IFX) in northern California.
In a press release, the company said it added a new patent to its suit accusing Infineon of infringement of U.S. Patent Number 6,067,272, which covers a delay locked loop circuit for use in synchronous dynamic random access memory, or DRAM.
In February, MOSAID filed a counter-suit against Infineon for infringement of seven of MOSAID's U.S. patents.
MOSAID claimed that Infineon has infringed and continues to infringe these patents by making and selling semiconductor products, including DRAMs, that utilize MOSAID's patents.
MOSAID is a semiconductor company.
