I just got back from the golf course. The course was packed as there was a tournament on both courses. I know everyone in the proshop and the starter so after we finally got a cart,(had to wait about an hour before one was available), me and a friend went down to the starter to see if we could sneak out and find a twosome to play with. The starter advised us that there was only 1 twosome on the course, the rest were foursomes. So we went out and found the twosome on the third hole and asked if we could join them. They gladly accepted us. We asked them on the fourth hole if they wanted to join in our little skin game with carryovers,(mandatory), on the 4th hole and they gladly accepted. It was apparent that 1 of the other 2 players was exceptional, so on the 10th hole I asked them what they did for a living. They both replied they played football. Not sure if they were arena league, NFL, or even possibly soccer, I asked them who they played for. I already knew their first names but did not know their last names until they answered that one of them played for the Dallas Cowboys, and the other for the Green Bay Packers!!! Matt McBriar and Billy Cundiff!!! After the round I asked them to autograph a couple golf balls, a hat and a glove, one each for my four daughters and they gladly obliged. They were great fun to play with as Billy was not that great but was a total hoot, (tried to get the ball out of a bunker 3 times unsuccessfully and posed for a few seconds each time, and stomped on Matt's line on virtually every putt shaking the flag so the shadow might distract him). Matt was a very good golfer and won 11 skins, as I won 4 and Billy and my friend were skunked. A day I won't soon forget. How many times have you gone to the golf course only to get to play with PRO atheletes? What are the odds of that happening?
The odds of our investment with PBLS are exponentially greater. I would go as far to say the our investment with PBLS is extremely safe and is most likely to profit all of us greatly. We shall see in the upcoming couple months.
